Idaho Association of Highway Districts honors ACHD Commissioner Rebecca Arnold  for Idaho transportation leadership

Coeur d’Alene  — The Idaho Association of Highway Districts has selected ACHD Commissioner Rebecca Arnold as the Association’s top Highway District Commissioner at the groups’ 2014 annual meeting, November 12-14, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  The Association’s most prestigious award recognized Commissioner Arnold’s steadfast commitment to effective and innovative leadership in assuring safe and cost effective plans, projects, and maintenance operations of Idaho’s local road ways.  The award was the result of the overwhelming consensus of the Association’s Board of Directors, her peers, and the general membership and was presented to Commissioner Arnold by the Association’s Board Chairman Kevin Renfrow and its Executive Director, Stuart Davis.     Davis stated “we are blessed and honored to have such a dedicated and accomplished elected official as Rebecca Arnold as an integral part of Idaho’s transportation team – she has not only earned this recognition, but lives it every day”.

The Idaho Association of Highway Districts is a non-partisan, non-profit, organization providing an effective, unified voice for Idaho’s 64 Highway Districts to promote the interests of all Highway Districts in the State of Idaho.  The Idaho Association of Highway Districts are responsible for providing administrative responsibility and insuring safe and well maintained roadways for over 12,000 miles of Idaho’s public roadways.  Rebecca Arnold currently serves on the Association’s Executive Committee as First Vice President.
